Testing complex systems earlier

I am a named inventor with teammates on a granted U.S. patent and additional published applications related to vehicle-software testing. As product owner, I helped shape the product and led the work of turning the development team's technical material into application-ready disclosures.

Auto-Gopher

From a CAD drill-bit design to an assembled laboratory prototype.

At NASA JPL, I designed the rotary-percussive drill-bit assembly shown here in CAD and ran laboratory drill tests on the assembled Auto-Gopher prototype.

I later co-authored “Auto-Gopher: a wireline rotary-hammer ultrasonic drill,” a 2011 SPIE conference paper covering the system's design and preliminary testing.
